If you have questions about the Bible, this website will probably have the answers you are seeking, as that is their main objective.
Be sure to check out their site map (it's at the bottom of the home page), especially the "Testimonials" section. In addition, if you click on "The Gospel" link at the top of their home page, you'll see a listing of many articles about salvation.
If you're wondering about the meaning of a certain Bible verse or passage, I recommend the commentaries by Albert Barnes, Matthew Henry, Charles Spurgeon, Adam Clarke, John Gill, Pastor Chuck Smith, and Pastor Jim Delany. Here's how to find them:
Very helpful if you need to look up the spelling or meaning of a word.
Another option is to do a "Google" search for "define" followed by whatever word you're looking for (example: "define wrath"). At the top, it will show the definition along with synonyms, and under that will be snippets from various websites that also provide definitions of words.
For people who are unable to attend church but would like to "fellowship" with other Christians via their computer, iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Android, I recommend watching or listening to the Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and/or Wednesday night services broadcast by the Quentin Road Bible Baptist Church in Lake Zurich, Illinois.
To watch or listen, go to their website and click on "Watch or Listen Live" on the home page (you'll have to scroll down a little to see it). Services begin at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central Standard Time on Sunday and at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
I've watched some of their Sunday evening services and have been impressed with the preaching. In addition, they sing many songs from the type of hymnal that is used by most Baptist churches.
Music "My Forever Friend"- A song by the Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell (no relation to me)
This is one of my favorite songs. It has beautiful music, excellent singing, and wonderful words. I hope you like it as much as I do.
[Note: Sometimes the lip sync on the video is a little off. If that happens, you may want to exit You Tube (or come back to this page) and try again.]
By the way, if you're interested in learning more about Daniel or attending one of his concerts, you can visit his website: www.danielodonnell.org.
