On this week's Hal Lindsey Presents, we go deeper into Revelation 5.

So often when we study the Book of Revelation, we get caught up in the imagery and symbols. What are the seven horns? Who are the four beasts? As we've gone through the book, I've tried to answer those questions.

But we must not forget the point of it all. The very first words of Revelation give its title and purpose - "The Revelation of Jesus Christ." Everything in this book reveals more about Him. He's the point, the focus, the centerpiece. Then, as we study Revelation, we see it harkening back to the whole Bible. The last book in the Bible provides a beautiful reminder that the whole Bible is about Jesus.

We often read Revelation because it gives insight into the world of the last days. It teaches us about things to come. But the most basic point of Revelation is the surpassing greatness and goodness of our Lord!

We see it again this week as we study Revelation 5. It gives us a fresh illustration of the enormous price Jesus paid as the Lamb of God who died for our sins and rose again. We contrast His position of Lamb of God with Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the coming King and Judge! He was born in a stable and died on a cross, but He is also the King of Glory!

Some have given up on end times prophecy, saying it's just too complicated. But on this week's program we show that the central theme is not complicated. It's Jesus Christ!

Thank you so much for your support as we continue this crucial study of Revelation.
